Check it is the right app
Several apps in the Samsung and LG stores have near-identical names. The one described here is called Smart IPTV and shows a MAC address on its first screen with no login field anywhere. If yours asks for a username, you have a different app and should follow the Smarters route instead.
Install it and write the MAC down
Search the Samsung or LG store for Smart IPTV and install it. Open it once and photograph the MAC address it displays, because the next step happens on a different device and you will want it again after any reset.
Upload the playlist from a phone or laptop
Open siptv.app/mylist. Type the MAC exactly as shown, colons and all, drop your M3U link into the URL field, tick "Keep online" and press Send. That tick box is what stops the playlist quietly disappearing later, so do not pass over it.
Restart the app on the television
Close Smart IPTV fully rather than backing out, then open it again. The channels and guide load from the playlist you sent. Give it a moment on the first run; the list is long and the hardware is modest.
Activate once the trial ends
You get seven days, after which it asks a small one-time activation for that specific set at siptv.app/activation. That payment goes to the app's developer and has nothing whatever to do with your subscription here. We take no part in it and receive none of it.
Keep the MAC somewhere other than the television
Photograph the first screen. You will need that MAC again after any reset, any reinstall and whenever you change the playlist, and digging it back out of a menu later is more tedious than saving it now.
Refresh the list before a big weekend
Because the app holds a snapshot rather than a live connection, a playlist saved months ago can drift out of date while the account behind it is perfectly healthy. Re-sending the same M3U at siptv.app/mylist pulls a current copy and takes a minute.
When it goes wrong, and why
The list uploads but the television shows nothing
Wait a minute and restart before assuming failure. Then check the MAC was entered exactly, colons included, since one wrong character sends your playlist to a television that does not exist. The app also holds one playlist at a time, so a second upload replaces the first.
It emptied itself after a factory reset
Resetting the set clears the stored list, and reinstalling does the same. Neither touches your subscription. Upload the M3U again at siptv.app/mylist against the same MAC and everything returns.
Channels load but the guide never appears
Smart IPTV needs the schedule supplied separately as an EPG URL in some configurations. Ask support for the xmltv address for your account and add it in the app settings, or move to a player that carries the guide with the login.
The activation page will not take my payment
That page belongs to the app developer, not to us, and its payment options vary by country. If it refuses, use IPTV Smarters instead, which has no activation fee at all. Nothing about your subscription changes.
It broke mid-match: what to try, in order
Re-enter the channel. Then take the HD or SD copy, which on the sets this app is designed for is very often the real answer. Then restart the app fully. If several channels fail together, re-upload the playlist at siptv.app/mylist, because a stale snapshot rather than a broken account is the usual explanation on this player. Because there is no login to check, that re-upload is effectively your reset button.

Questions about Smart IPTV (SIPTV)
What is the difference between Smart IPTV and SSIPTV?
Two unrelated developers built two apps solving the same problem in almost the same way, then named them so similarly that confusion was guaranteed. Smart IPTV wants the MAC upload described above; SSIPTV accepts a link typed on the television. Both work here, so take whichever your store carries.
Do I pay you for the activation?
No. That fee belongs to the app developer and is charged once per television. It is unrelated to your subscription, and we would rather say so plainly than have you think we have added a hidden charge.
Do I pay the activation once or yearly?
Once, for that specific television, and it does not renew. Replace the set and the new one has a different MAC and needs its own activation, which is a reasonable argument for the free Smarters app if you change televisions often.
Is it good enough for live sport?
On a set that cannot run anything heavier, yes, and it is noticeably quicker than the alternatives on old panels. What it lacks is a proper grid guide, so finding one fixture among many is slower. If the television is the one you watch sport on, a stick with TiViMate is a real upgrade.
Why does everyone find the MAC step confusing?
Because no other app in this category works that way, so the instinct is to look for a login screen that does not exist. Once you have done it once it takes two minutes, and the reward is an app light enough for hardware that struggles with everything else.
Why choose this over IPTV Smarters on the same set?
Weight, essentially. Smart IPTV asks less of the television than any alternative, so on a panel from 2016 or 2017 it will open faster, redraw the list faster and stutter less on a busy channel. That is a real advantage on old hardware and no advantage at all on new hardware. Against it: the MAC upload is awkward the first time, there is a one-off fee, and the guide is weaker, which on a long sports line-up is felt. On a modern set take Smarters; on an old one that struggles, this is why the app exists.
